UNIT 08 · GRAMATYKA

Do, Does / Don't, Doesn't

CZĘŚĆ 1 · PYTANIA

Do / Does

🔎 Do czego to służy?

To słówko "otwiera" pytanie i samo niesie informację o osobie.

👤 I / you / we / they → DO Do you like tea?
👤 He / she / it → DOES Does she like tea?
🙋 Pytania ogólne (tak/nie) Do you play football?
❓ Pytania szczegółowe (what, where, why...) Where does he work?

🧱 Budowa pytania

I / you / we / they
Do + podmiot + czasownik (forma podstawowa)?
Do you speak English?
He / she / it
Does + podmiot + czasownik (forma podstawowa)?
Does he speak English?
⚠️ Uwaga na najczęstszy błąd! Kiedy w pytaniu pojawia się Does, czasownik główny wraca do formy podstawowej — bez końcówki -s/-es! Mówimy Does she like coffee?, a NIE Does she likes coffee?

Yes, I do. No, I don't. Yes, she does. No, she doesn't. Yes, they do. No, it doesn't.

CZĘŚĆ 2 · PRZECZENIA

Don't / Doesn't

🔎 Do czego to służy?

Żeby zaprzeczyć zdanie w Present Simple, nie zmieniamy czasownika — dodajemy przed nim słówko don't albo doesn't. To one-stop-shop przeczenia: samo słówko mówi "nie" i pasuje do osoby.

🚫 I / you / we / they → DON'T I don't like spiders.
🚫 He / she / it → DOESN'T She doesn't like spiders.
✂️ don't = do not I do not / don't smoke.
✂️ doesn't = does not He does not / doesn't smoke.

🧱 Budowa przeczenia

I / you / we / they
Podmiot + don't + czasownik (forma podstawowa)
I don't drink coffee.
He / she / it
Podmiot + doesn't + czasownik (forma podstawowa)
He doesn't drink coffee.
Mówimy She doesn't like it, a NIE She doesn't likes it.
